Average each row (as a column)

  • Type: Inserted as a column
  • Description: Calculates the average of all values in each row.
  • Range:
    • Columns: All columns
    • Rows: Each row
    • Measures: First measure
  • Syntax:
avg(all, 0, m1)
  • Sample crosstab:

 

Example

In the table shown above, we want to calculate an average per year (notice: TARGIT does NOT include totals when you use the All reference).

After adding the calculation as a column, we have this result:
