How to get a Custom Color Palette to use the same colors when drilling down, like Automatic.

Hello,

How do you get your own color palette to work the same as the Automatic does for drill down objects? 

When I created my own palette and I clicked on a portion of a graph it drilled down on another graph correctly, but with the wrong color.  It was using the same color no matter which value I picked.

The only one I could get to work was the Automatic, so I changed its colors, but now it will be changed for whoever uses this selection.

Are there settings that will enable a custom palette to work like the Automatic?

This is what happens when I create a custom palette and pick a value.  No matter which section I pick the color is the same on the other graph.
