How does the regression line work for viewer users? As I see it, they are able to right click an object and choose either "Step forward" or "Fast forward" to add a regression line (they can not choose "Regression" as I can as developer").
And how do they remove the regression line again? They can not do it by clicking the field again and they do not have access to the regression button in properties.

Note: The Data / Regression options are available only in the Windows client. They are not available to consumer users (viewer users) in the Anywhere client.
It is true that, from the right-click menu, you cannot remove a regression line that has been added via "Step Forward" or "Fast Forward". You can only close and reopen the dashboard to get rid of it.
I am considering reporting this as a bug. When selecting the "Cancel forecast" option, I guess the regression line should be removed as well.

I agree - I thought "Cancel forecast" would remove the regression line as well but it does not. It could be smart for users to be able to remove the line so they don't have to close and reopen the dashboard :-)
