Selecting objects in an area of a dashboard

It should be possible to select multiple objects by holding down the mouse key and drawing a rectangular shape.

Everything within the rectangular shape should be selected (including objects covered by other objects).

This will make it a lot easier to quickly rearrange your dashboard and move different parts of your dashboard around.

This will also make it easier to multiselect and copy parts of your dashboard for use in other documents or layouts.
