Using Web box to pre-fill fields in a Microsoft Form
You can create Microsoft Forms - e.g. surveys, polls, etc., - that can be inserted in a Web box directly in a TARGIT dashboard.
The TARGIT user can fill in the Form while still working in the TARGIT client.
First, create your Form in Microsoft Forms. Then go to settings (three dots in upper right corner) and select 'Get Pre-Filled URL'.
You may need to 'Enable pre-filled answers'.
Fill in placeholder strings in the fields that you would like to be pre-filled from TARGIT. In this example, 'MyName' and 'MyDocument'. These are going to be replaced by dynamic content later on.
Eventually, click the 'Get Prefilled Link' button, and paste this link into a Web box property in the TARGIT Designer client.
The placeholders can now be replaced by dynamic content that you insert from the two curled brackets next to the Link property.
In this example, I am using 'Current user' and 'Document - Path'. The latter could also be just 'Document - Title', if you prefer. Of course, all other dynamic content options could be valid candidates for pre-filling a Form. E.g. 'Current date', 'Current time', 'Cube processed time' etc.
Add the Web to your dashboard in a permanent location, or design it so that it is initiated by a trigger, e.g. something like this:
