Multi-condition Color Agent

Is there a way to have an "if - then - else" for the agent condition using a dimension and measure?  I have New and Used equipment sales and I want to high the margin % measure differently based on the equipment being new or used.

For example if the equipment is new and the margin is greater than 5% make a green element, but if the equipment is used and the margin is greater than 15% make a green element.

Thanks

  • Good Idea! I would also have many usecases for this.

Should be possible. Here is an example from an old "Formula Guide" that referes to a specific Dimension Member. So maybe this could also be implemented in the Color Agent:

  • Not sure about in color agents, but at least you can easily create that logic in a 'helper column' where you assign a specific number to each equipment based on the conditions you want - then apply  the different color agents to that column (eg. green color if value = 1) and then hide the 'helper column' for the final visualisation.
