JOB Execution - Personalized Status of empty result Reports
Some Jobs fail with NO DATA and produce an Error.
In a real customer Enviroment, there could be always many Jobs, that have no Data, for example daily jobs that run after public holidays or Mondays after weekend.
If these Jobs produce an Error, the Job Administrator will always get an E-Mail with this Error and has to check the reasons.
So it would be great to have a personalized Option, where you can decide if the Job will fail with an Error Message, or simply a warning.

Hi Marc, I heard that in the latest version reports with empty results will not fail anymore but send an empty report to the users. TARGIT team says it is not a bug but a change.
Hi Marlene,
in our Enviroment (V2024), no Report was sent out when all the Data Objects has been empty.
Only a Warning. Now with V2025, we get an Error, which is always confusing because sometimes it's normal that Reports have no data.
So the best way would be to have an option about the type of status that should be produced.
Hi everyone,
I find this also quite confusing, and this is why are not using the error notification in Targit.
An empty report is not an error, as it executed. Now what is missing on top of that would be something like data driven subscriptions in SQL Server Reports. There I can "suppress" the report from printout by defining an expression based on my data, and even influence the execution parameters with the expression.
Thank you. We appreciate your input.
