  • Hi Michala,

No. There is no option to "Select all" in a slicer list.

Beware that having selected nothing will give the same result as if you selected all. I presume you have other reasons for being able to "select all"...?

To be treated as a feature request, please elaborate in which use case(s) it makes sense to be able to "select all".

  • Hi Ole,

In the current case I have a report where there is a required criteria (brand) on my data table. I have generated a slicer with the brands that are relevant for the report (we have a huge brand portfolio but less than 20 of them are relevant in this report), and this is the only place the user can select brand(s). The user wants to be able to either select one or more brands individually, or all of the brands in one click.

I am not interested in showing the data table before the brand(s) are selected, because of the amount of data in the table.

  • Hi Michala,

This issue may be handled by creating a User Dimension with members for each of the Brands you want to appear in the slicer object plus one additional member with a criteria that embraces all the other Brands. The latter user dimension member can then be named 'Select All'.

The user dimension can replace the original dimension in the slicer object.
