Sorting measures in a table with user dimensions

Hi!

I have the table below with two regular dimensions (Customer Name and Cust. Cat.) and then a user dimension (Price Profiles) where I have grouped members from another dimension.

I want to be able to sort the table on most Revenue per Customer Name across Price Profiles. I have done a calculation (New calculation) as you can see below, where I sum up the total Revenue per Customer Name, but unfortunately nothing happens when I sort on this value. I believe it is the user dimension (Price Profiles) that is messing with me, but I do need this grouping, and as it changes rather rapidly, I would prefer to be able to do it as a user dimension, not being dependent on our cube developer.

Is there any way I can do the sorting?

  • Hi Michala,

Usually, when you are having problems with sorting your data, you should try disabling the 'Hierarchical collation' setting. By default, it is enabled.

  • Hi Ole,

Thanks a lot! I was sure I already tried that, but it works now, just because you said so ;-)
