User Id as systemvariable

Currently, only the UserName (via $CurrentUser) is available as a system variable, but UserId is not. Since UserId is guaranteed to be unique (unlike UserName, which may not be), could UserId also be added as a system variable? This would make it easier to ensure unique user references in workflows.
