Client deployment
It would be nice to pass the servername in the commandline, so the admin is in total control of the deployment

Hi Claus,
Can I ask you to be more specific? In which situations does this apply? Which TARGIT component(s) should be deployed in this way?
From our general guidelines for feature requests:
Feature requests should, as a minimum, contain information about: What is the feature request about? Which part of the product or which current feature does it apply to? Which type of user does it apply to?
Furthermore, to increase it chances for being considered, a business case or an example of the benefits this feature request will provide, is recommended.

When installing TARGIT Client, you will have to enter the name of the server after the installation completes.
When you make a package to deploy, it would be nice for the system administrator to pre set this servername in the installation process, so that the servername is already filled out for the user.
All right. Thanks for clarifying.
The status of this post will be updated as your request is being processed by TARGIT.
Until then, the post will remain here to gather further interest (more votes) and comments.

Hi Claus,
Your feature request has been discussed in the Product Board, and we have decided for now not to move forward with this feature request.
Suggestion: You have probably logged on to the server yourself at least once. This will produce a server-specific TARGIT shortcut in your user folder: C:\Users\XYZuser\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\TARGIT. You can forward/deploy this shortcut to your end-users' PCs.
