Add Todays Day to Dynamic Content

Please could you add the simplest of options to Dynamic Content. We have todays Date but cannot get the Day portion. 

I got a request for this from one of our new Customers and was very surprised after many years of TargIt usage that this was not available out of the box and had to go and develop a solution in our Cube to create one.
