Manipulate source data before using in cubes

I have a first name column and a last name column in my excel sheet – can I somehow concatenate them in TARGIT Data Discovery?

    You can create a format

    and then create a new column (by clicking "+")

    and then use the fomula: concatenate(&Firstname," ",&Lastname), where Firstname is the name of your column with first name etc.
