I want to reflect the iteration on every page, so it’s visible within my report which iteration (dimension value) has been reached – it that possible?

I would suggest using a textbox with dynamic content: the system variable 'iteration value'. This is a feature in TARGIT 2021.
Using older versions you can also use dynamic content but then you need to know which dimension value is inside your iteration and select it manually.

If you have "user dimension" to iterate over pages, it will take the label of the "user dimension" member.
Took me a bit to find that setting as well.
