1. When a certain column is interpreted as a data - you know TARGIT will create 2 data hierarchies - but also in the raw folder you will have access to "flat" attributes like day, week, month, quarter, year without having to add a full hierarchy
2. When a certain column is interpreted as an integer or float, it's most likely a measure, and it will automatically be available as a measure. However it might be a dimension and in the raw folder you will find a dimension "version" of the column which can be extremely useful for filtering and bucketing
