Ctrl+Z undo an action as a designer

What options do I have for Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y for undo and redo in every other application?

It appears that it is not possible to undo an incorrect delete or movement of an object, or color change. It would help if it would be possible to go back to the previous applied state of an object (or apply it again).

(I'm new so a lot of trial and error, but i can never go back so first time right needs to be 100%).

  • Did they make a undo-button? Should be high priority :)

  • I agree with Tobias - An "undo" option would save us a lot of time :-)

  • I have asked for this as well. Unfortunately I don't think Targit have this functionality.

But if you by mistake have deleted an object, you can find it again under you "not used objects" (have no idea what the correct translation is ;-D Just double click on the object to add it to you analysis again.

  • You can check out the shortcuts that TARGIT has here: https://community.targit.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017023438-Keyboard-Shortcuts

As Louise writes then you can work with the object list. If you unlink an object then you will do changes only to the specific object in a particular layout. And if you then find out that these changes are not correct then you can delete it and get the linked object back. You can also do duplicates of objects and work with these and then of course go back to the original if you want. Of course this is not an undo but maybe some tricks that you can work with.
