share an user dimension between connections

I have 1 targit installation with 2 connections, I have created a shared user dimension in 1 connection, this user dimension is avilable in all cubes. I would like this dimension also to be made available in the other connection.
(I have a Dev connection and a Prod connection). If I save a prod report as a local file and then update the connection name from Prod to Dev and then open that local report I get warnings that my user dimension with id {8732.....} is not found in the Cube. Which is logical as it's not shared there. But how can I share it across? It must be stored in a settings file, can I adjust there?

The location for all settings related to shared dimension, colors, globaldims, translations can be found in this folder if you kept default installation settings: C:\ProgramData\TARGIT\ANTServer\Settings
Everything is stored in xml files which you can copy entirely or copy pieces of xml to another server instance.
Good practice is to make a backup off the XML file on the destination machine if you want to overwrite or edit it. Just in case something goes wrong, you can always go back to the previous situation
