Excel format in scheduled jobs

Hi,

I have some reports where the users normally just open them up in Targit and export to excel, is there a way to send the report as excel in schedule jobs---the only option for format is PDF. Do I/we have to install excel on the server where Targit is located for the excel option to be available in scheduled jobs ?

    Hi Bo,

    right click on the cross tab you want to export - schedule:

    New window will appear. Under format you can configure the data to Excel:

    and even select the multiple object sheet's in case you report contains more then one cross tab:
