Missing scroll bar at bottom of Crosstab
Hi,
I have some tables with many measures and I can't scroll to the right because there is no scroll bar. How can I fix this? See screenshot below. We are using Targit 2021 -19280.
Thanks!

Hi Frank,
I also get this feedback from users very often. I am also interested in a solution. :)
Hi Frank,
I have indications that this is a bug that has been fixed with the 2021 Summer release (build 21222).
A possible work around seems to be re-adjusting some of the column widths until the scrollbar re-appears.
I haven't been able to verify any of this.

Hi Ole,
Thanks!
We use TARGIT Decision Suite 2021, 2021 Update 3 [build 19280]
The latest version with classic report engine. We still have a lot of classic reports to convert. :-)
The problem is that the new version does not have grouping on multiple members within a page.
I'll try to play around with the column widths.
Hi Ole,
And what was the trick with the scroll bar on the right of the crosstable and that it does not block the measure value. See example below (screenshot 1). It is a details sheet with many columns.
Also looking for a trick on how to scroll through the list with the mouse wheel in the anywhere client. This was possible in Targit 2017 but when I scroll with the mouse in Targit 2021 nothing happens. I can only use the scroll bar, but they are a bit small. See screenshot 2.
Thanks!

Hi Frank,
The issue with scroll bar covering data was solved in build 21222.
In versions prior that, I have normally recommended this work around:
This should leave enough space for the scroll bar not to cover any data
In my current version 21.8.25001 (the latest official release at time of writing) I can scroll crosstabs - vertically - in the Anywhere client with my scroll wheel. Not sure it has been possible to scroll horizontally with the mouse wheel?

Hi Ole,
Current version TARGIT Decision Suite 2021, 2021 Update 3 [build 19280].
Checked again and scrolling verticaly does not work in the Anywhere client. Maybe we can have a share screen session?
Best regards,
Frank
Hi Frank,
I was wondering what browser you are using for the Anywhere client?
I have tested this with build 19280 and a Chrome browser - and it works perfectly for me (vertical scrolling with mouse wheel).
Also, you recently mentioned another issue with Maps not auto-zooming in the Anywhere client. Again, this works fine for me, build 19280 and Chrome.

Hi Ole,
Thanks!
We are using anywhere client via a portal and the portal has IE. Think we should upgrade that to Edge.
About the workaround with the scrollbar covering the data. Here my feedback:
This works fine when you don't have that many columns. Below my result with autofit. When I increase the column width, the scrollbar again covers the data.
