Export to Excel - formatting of exported data
Is it in any way possible to add some basic formatting of the objects being exported to Excel. For example, freeze the first row and add filtering?

No. The Excel export will take the format as you see it in TARGIT (unless you use the 'custom export' option to remove all formatting).
You cannot add Excel features like freeze top rows, filtering options etc. These are purely Excel features.
