Data Discovery file (Log and TransactionDB.db)

Dear support team,

one of customer reported questions concerning some TARGIT Dataservice file and their size:

    11 GB file:  C: Program Files TARGIT TARGIT Data Service TransactionDB.db
    31 GB file  C: Program Files TARGIT TARGIT Data Service Logs log.txt

First question: Are they necessary or can they be deleted when the Data discovery service is stopped?

Second question: Can you limit the size of the log, so that he will be overwritten?

    Hi Thomas,

    I got these answer from our developers:

    1. The files can be deleted after data service is stopped.
    2. Currently there is no control on the file size.
