Change date format
Is it possible to change the date format in Targit? When I insert the system variable "Date", the format is mm/dd/yyyy but I would like dd/mm/yyyy.
Is it related to the language preferences/settings of the computer? I have checked the format is correct on my computer.

Hi Karoline,
if I change my TARGIT client language to Danish or German, the date variable is displayed like this
My region settings on my computer:
Hi Karoline,
When viewing dashboards or reports in the TARGIT client, the date format of the Date system variable is determined by the client language:
For scheduled jobs, e.g., a report including the Date system variable, you can control the date format via the language setting in the scheduled job:

Furthermore, you can also add a new "en-gb" entry in the Languages.xml file.
The file is located in C:\ProgramData\TARGIT\ANTServer\Settings\Translations
Here, I have added "en-gb" and called it "English UK" (you can call it whatever you want).
Date, as a system variable in a text box, with my new English UK language: 31/01/2023
While, with the standard English Worldwide language, it will be like this: 1/31/2023

Unfortunately this new language is not shown in the Anywhere client. How can it be entered in the option list in the login screen there ? Our customer is mainly working with the Anywhere...
Best regards
Steffen
Ole Dyring I also encountered the problem mentioned by Steffen Brauch: the language created manually is not showing in Anywhere Client. Could you please elaborate on this?
Hi Steffen and Jelle,
I am afraid that it is not possible, without some source code coding, to add a new language to the Anywhere languages list.
However, if you keep the Anywhere language at the 'Auto select language', system dates will be displayed in the selected language of the browser.
E.g., in a Chrome browser, in Settings / Language, you can select the language in which the Chrome UI should be displayed. System dates will then behave accordingly.
