Use existing user dimension in new user dimension

Hi all, 

creating a new global filter, you can use an exisiting user dimension:

But here is an example that you cant refer to another existing user dimension in a new user dimension

    I think you might be talking about something slightly different.

    You can add criteria using a user dimension (local or global) - but you can't refer to an existing user dimension from within another user dimension, and that has never been possible.

    It certainly looked like it was possible, as you the option was in the view and you could choose amongst your shared userdimensions from within a new user dimension. But you're right, it doesnt actually work, but the steps where possible to take and give you a (wrong) result.
