Is it possible to Color a KPI value?

Hi,

I have some troubles getting the Color agents to work on an KPI object. It works in 'Show data' form, but not when you showcase it in 'chart'

I want to color the KPI in green or red depending on whether or not it is positive numbers. It looks like it is coloring the value properly in the data

But when I want to showcase it in KPI format it does not include the color agent, and return to the theme text color

Is it possible to use the color agents on KPI's and if so, how would you do it?

  • Hi Christoffer,

Two things need to be done.

    1. The color agent should be of type 'Color element':
    2. Enable the 'Use value color' in KPI properties:

  • Hej Ole,

Tak for svar.

    Hvad gør jeg forkert her?

  • Hi Christoffer

It is a bit odd, but when you use the lookup value function, that reference doesn't really have a link to your row calculation.

Your look-up just points to your original measure, but in a special row...

To fix it, you could add a visibility agent that hides all your original rows and just leaves the row calculation.

Now the color agent will have an effect because all other data is hidden (again a little strange to understand).

Hope it works for you :-)
