Gateway direct URI in connection string

In TARGIT Management Connections, if you have connections that are connecting through the TARGIT Data Gateway, we recommend to include the GatewayDirectUri setting directly in the connection string to improve stability and performance of your connections.

Existing Gateway connections, without the GatewayDirectUri setting will still work, but are using additional steps and resources to verify the communication channel. It is these additional steps and resources that can be bypassed with the GatewayDirectUri setting.

To insert the GatewayDirectUri setting in your connection strings, follow these steps:

1. Open the connection that are connecting through TARGIT Data Gateway:
   
2. In the Connection Name, unselect the connection (select another connection) and reselect the connection. That's it. The connection string now contains the GatewayDirectUri setting:
