URL Action

Click the Actions Tab of the cube and right click in the Action Organizer area:

Choose New Action

Settings for a new Action:

Choose the Type of action to be URL and put in the Action expression as shown below:

This simplified expression will also work:

"http://www.google.com/search?q=" + [Customer].[Customer Name].CURRENTMEMBER.NAME

Inside the TARGIT client – build a crosstab using Customer Name and right click a customer name (in this case Alpine Ski) from the crosstab – choose Actions:

This will open up a google search page using this particular company as search string:
