HTML Tables as a data source - basic guide

What is it?

With this plugin you can "scrape" HTML tables from webpages (provided these are "old school" HTML tables, and auto-generated when you enter the page).

How to connect through Data Discovery?

Paste in the URL of the webpage you wish to "scrape" from - in this case a Wikipedia article on the population of the world:

By clicking the "No table selected" you can choose between the tables that has been identified on this page and see the content of this table - e.g. like below:

If no tables are offered in this dialogue - it means that the plugin is unable to identify these tables (they are probably auto generated like mentioned above)
