Now that we created a handful of tasks purely related to handling of the Excel-based budget data, we might as well organize these tasks as a Group in the ETL project.
The Group task does nothing except organizing the design of the ETL project in a more manageable layout.
Once you have added the Group task, drag and drop the relevant other tasks into the group container.
Notice the expand/collapse buttons on the Group container and on the While container. In screenshot above, the While container has been collapsed to hide all the Script tasks that is part of the While task.
Also notice the Code Generation option for each task, including a group of tasks, that gives you an option to disable/enable individual tasks or groups when running the ETL project. This option can be useful while developing and debugging a project.
