Data Model Editor: Drillthrough

A Drillthrough action is the opportunity to see detailed information on transactional level behind any summarized value in the TARGIT client.

Note: This article concerns Drilltrhoughs on Relational and InMemory data models. For Data models on OLAP databases, see this article: Drillthrough action on OLAP databases

First, you will need to defined and enable Drillthrough in the Data Model Editor. This is done on the original cube. If the original cube is member of a Virtual cube, the Drillthrough action will also be available in the Virtual cube.

Note: For end-users to be able to use a Drillthrough action on a Virtual cube in the TARGIT client, the end-user must have access (in Roles settings) to both the Virtual cube and the original cube.

Select the details that you would like to include in the Drillthrough result.

In the TARGIT client, the Drillthrough action is accessed by right-clicking any value in a data object:
