In this usecase, we want to understand who is new? That means something started last month and continued into this month. In that period of time new things have happened.
It could be new products within a product group, new customers within a special segment - all kinds of new events with a certain scenario.
The scenario that is investigated here is long-term absence.
The long-term absent employees might be away for month due to an operation, depression, just taking leave or other reasons.
So in a big organization there are a number of long-term absent people at any given time.
Someone leaves the group (luckily) and someone enters.
In this setup, we want to find the newbies in the group.
The lower tables on the left-hand side has a local filter of Last Month (Aug 2024) and Longterm Absent (Absence Reason)
We have setup a filter delegate that says DIFFERENT FROM Employee.
The tables on the right-hand side has a local filter of This Month (Sep 2024) and Longterm Absent (Absence Reason)
So from this analysis - we can see the 5 new employees has reported to be longterm absent in this month.
