Best Practices Backup
- How often? Daily backups, if possible. At least once a week.
- How long should backups be kept? Keep daily backups for 7 days; weekly backups for 10 weeks; Monthly backups for 12 months.
- When should you backup? Try to keep the backups out of working hours, as backups may have an influence on performance.
- Backup before upgrading. Of course, always do a backup before upgrading to a new TARGIT version. Consider server snapshots for easier recovery.
