Simple Report Iterations

In Design mode for your report, right click the page you would like to iterate and select Create new iteration.

The definition of an iteration is essentially just a definition of a standard crosstab.

The beauty of this concept is that the rows you end up with in your crosstab are the number of iterations you will see in your report.

The selected page will be iterated once per dimension member in the crosstab – using that dimension member as a filter on the iterated section.

Once you apply the iteration crosstab, you can see the iteration in the page panel to the right in your client.

Before we print/preview this report, it might be useful to add a text box to work as a header for each iterated section. I.e. insert dynamic content similar to the dimension(s) used in the iteration crosstab.

It would make sense to place the text box near the top of the page.
