Report Iterations with Totals

From the configuration of the iteration crosstab we may add standard elements, such as a Grand Total:

Before we print the PDF file from this, we may also want to modify the text header to include some fixed text, “Revenue” in this example, and change the {ProductGroupMembers} dynamic content to work as a Single.

From the resulting PDF file, the first four pages would look like this:

From this, we can conclude that:

• Including the Grand Total in the iteration crosstab will produce an extra iteration – one with data from all Product Groups in this example.
• The Single option in dynamic content will insert the dimension member name only if the criteria for the iterated page is based on a single dimension member.
