I tried to create a new layout from an excisting layout by choosing the elements from the object list. After that I modified the dimensions in one of the crosstabs in the new layout.
But the dimensions in the excisting layout also changed to the dimensions in the new layout. I can't figure out what I did wrong ?

By default, objects are linked between layouts. Changes made in an object in one layout will also affect the same object in other layouts. Unless...
You will need to 'Unlink' the object in the new layout. You unlink by clicking the yellow chain icon.

thanks for the tip.
I actually solved it by duplicating the excisting layout, then duplicated the crosstab in the new layout which made it at new object and removed the original crosstab object from the new layout.
That worked too :-)
