Connecting to a relational database with the right service account

From the Management client's Connection tab you can right click to create a new connection to, e.g., an existing relational database:

The type of relational database can be one of many - including SQL Server databases and TARGIT's own InMemory database:

In this example, you will then be able to select one of the existing SQL Server databases:

Important Notice: Make sure that the Service Account running the TARGIT server, has enough privileges to access the database. If not, when trying to select a database or when clicking the 'Test connection on server', you may experience an 'Server connection failed' error like this:

To change the Service Account of the TARGIT server, go to 'Setup' and 'Change Service Account' in the Management client and select an account that will work within your organization's security settings:
