Note: AI Document Summary is only available to Cloud based TARGIT solutions.
The AI-driven summarization feature analyzes dashboards to highlight key trends, outliers, and anomalies in real time. Instead of manually interpreting data, users receive instant insights that identify patterns, deviations, and unexpected changes.
Once AI Summary has been enabled for a document, end-users can activate the summary from the TARGIT AI button in the upper right corner of the client:

Enabling AI Summary
As a Designer, you will need to enable AI Summary for a document.
- Switch to Designer mode of your TARGIT Designer client.
- Click the TARGIT AI button in the upper right corner in the Designer client.
- Click the AI Settings button in the lower right corner.
- In the AI Settings dialog, Enable AI Summary.
Prompt
With this option, you can customize how the summary should be structured regarding tone, format, focus and audience.
If left empty, the default structure will be used: Introduction, Findings, Recommendations.

Object/Layout Specific settings
With this option, you can specify selected layouts and selected objects from the document to be included in the AI Summary.
Furthermore, you can set the default AI Summary behavior of new objects being added to the document.

The current decision is that this is a Cloud-only feature.

I will go a step further. Please do it for on prem too, with custom llm endpoint (ie ollama). Clients choose on prem for some / their reasons.
