You can apply Required criteria to Text boxes in the same way you do with data-bearing objects. See Required criteria
One useful scenario is displaying a Text box that states something like “Country criteria apply.” By assigning the appropriate Required criteria, the Text box will appear only when at least one Country criterion is active - otherwise, it will remain hidden.
