  • TARGIT Decision Suite 2026 June has been released [build 26.05.22002]

A new version of TARGIT Decision Suite has been released on the 3rd of June 2026. Below is an overview of the major new features and changes you now have access to.

Major new features and changes in this version:

    • Several improvements when working with calculations:
      • Larger syntax editor– The editor used for writing calculation syntax has been expanded, providing a better overview and easier editing.
      • Use measure and calculation names directly– In addition to traditional references like m1 and c1, you can now reference measures and calculations by name, such as @“Revenue” or @“Growth”.
      • Toggle between reference types– New buttons let you switch how column headers appear in your crosstab: use descriptive names (e.g., Revenue, Budget Amount, Costs) or technical references (m1, m2, m3).
      • Preserve line breaks and indentation– For improved readability, your custom formatting – such as line breaks and indentation – is now retained when saving a calculation.
      • Add inline comments– Include inline comments in your syntax using /* ... */ for clearer documentation
      • See Community articleCalculations - using named references
    • KPI objects render blank instead of [Undefined]. In previous versions where the KPI object picked empty values from the underlying table, the KPI object would render the text [Undefined]. Now, it will simply render blank instead. See KPI blank instead of [Undefined]
    • Connection to Microsoft Fabric Semantic Model. TARGIT can use a Microsoft Fabric data lake as a data source. Get detailed instructions here: Connect to Microsoft Fabric Semantic Model
    • Limit number of rows in Drillthrough action. When configuring a Drillthrough action in the TARGIT Data Model Editor, you can now set a limit on the number of rows returned when a Consumer user activates the Drillthrough action in the TARGIT client. This setting is useful if your Drillthrough actions tend to return very large result sets, which can place unnecessary strain on your server. See Limit number of rows in Drillthrough
