Extra linespace in crosstab

Looking at a hierarchy can often be a bit challenging - it can be a little hard to identify where a new group begins and another group ends.

Here's a simple example of a crosstab showing hierarchical overview of Item Groups and individual Items.

Now we want to create a little more line space for the Grand Total and for each of the subtotals.

To get started, we right click on Total and choose Table - Formal all members on this level

Now set the top and bottom border width to a suitable number of pixels (4 in this case)

Finally click on Top and make sure the border color is completely transparent by setting the color level to 0 (right hand side control).

Repeat for Bottom and do the same.

Now repeat the whole proces for the subtotals.
