Trigger - Object Toggle tags

[Cloud release: 2025.07.02]
[On-prem release: 2025 October]
[On-prem build: 25.10.10001]

The Toggle visibility trigger is closely related to the Object list in your dashboard. Before the objects or the groups in this list can be used for Object toggling, their names must be prefixed with a hashtag (#). Objects or groups without a prefix hashtag will not be available for the Toggle visibility trigger.

Tagged object/group names:

  • Objects and groups names should be prefixed with a hashtag (#). Names otherwise supports letters, numbers and underscore ("_"). Try to avoid spaces in the names.
  • E.g., two different objects with names "#FilterPanel" and "#FilterPanel 1" will both be triggered by "#FilterPanel". In this case, everything after the space will be ignored.

Objects or groups with multiple tag names:

  • An object or a group can have multiple tag names.
  • Tag names should be separated by a comma or a space.
  • E.g., one object could be named "#SalesSubMenu, #MenuLevel2".

Triggers with multiple tags:

  • You can add as many tags as you need into any of the three show/hide/toggle fields in the Trigger dialog.
  • Keep tags separated by a comma if you do so.

When adding tags to the either the Show, Hide or Toggle fields in the Trigger dialog, you can just start typing to do an instant search among the available tags:

Tip: Start by typing hashtag (#) to get a complete list of available tags:
