The full list of trigger actions (2026 version):
-
Open. Open document. Enabled: Saved criteria only. This is the default trigger option when opening the trigger dialog. Opens the target document with the target document's saved criteria - without transferring any criteria from the source document.
- Relative link. When disabled, the link to the target document is stored as an absolute path, e.g. Shared\Finance\Budget\Doc1.xview. When enabled, the link to the target document is stored as a relative path - relative to the source document - e.g. ..\Budget\Doc1.xview. The advantage of using relative links is that links are less likely to be broken when moving or renaming folders in your folder structure.
- Default layout. Use this option to open an alternative layout in the target document. The 'Default layout' is the first layout that matches the current device type (PC, tablet or smartphone).
-
Open. Open document. Disabled: Saved criteria only. When the 'Saved criteria only' is disabled, criteria that apply to the source document will be transferred to the target document.
